From the very first contact, we get straight to the point: Sandra, your Brussels-based photographer, takes the time to listen to your wishes and inspirations—even the most unconventional ones. Together, we build a highly personalized moodboard, where every visual reference, every nuance of light, every atmosphere is carefully considered.
We discuss the ideal framing: classic portrait, close-up, half-body, hands in the frame… Sandra refines every pose, adjusts posture, and gently guides your gaze (even that “look that changes everything”—no worries, she’s great at helping shy people loosen up). The vibe is always relaxed (no stress here 😊), with some music to set the mood, good tea or coffee, laughter, and plenty of breaks.
Every detail matters: the way light touches your skin, a strand of hair falling just right, the texture of the fabric, the fleeting expression only an expert eye can catch. Whether in the studio or on a typical Brussels outdoor spot, everything is adapted: professional lighting, backgrounds, props, even the backdrop that tells your story.

Are the photos taken only in the studio, or can we shoot outdoors around Brussels too?
Both are possible—it all depends on the mood you want. The photo studio is the ultimate playground for mastering professional lighting (flashes, softboxes, colored backdrops, gels… we have fun with it!), creating tailor-made universes, and stylized settings. Studio photography is the gold standard for image quality and precision—every detail is controlled.
But Brussels is also full of magical outdoor locations: the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken for magical natural light, the Grand Place for that historic vibe, Parc du Cinquantenaire for graphic perspectives, the arty alleys of the Marolles district for a street/urban feel, or the iconic Atomium for a futuristic touch… And honestly, there’s nothing like a sunbeam filtering through the trees at Bois de la Cambre for a poetic atmosphere 🌳☀️

Will the images be retouched?
Yes—absolutely! Every image goes through a post-production workflow worthy of a fine art photography studio: RAW development (from the original files), color grading and digital development in Lightroom, then a mandatory pass through Photoshop to enhance even the smallest details (wrinkles, redness, little imperfections—we smooth them out without losing your personality). It’s the same level of attention as in advertising, fashion, or high-end magazines: high-definition finish, controlled grain, natural skin (never plastic-looking!), creative play with shadows…
In short, every portrait is treated as a unique work of art. 😉
Is makeup and hairstyling included?
On request, absolutely! A professional makeup artist and hair stylist—both experts at highlighting your lips, eyes, and complexion—can step in before or during the shoot. Together, we choose the color palette to match your wishes (nude gloss, smoky eyes, etc.), and nothing is left to chance. The goal? To enhance you without masking your natural self, using professional products and studio techniques—just like an editorial photoshoot. Honestly, it’s the best way to feel fabulous and gorgeous in front of the camera.
Is styling included?
Also available on request—a professional stylist can help you select outfits, accessories, and color palettes based on your skin tone, body shape, and the mood you want (color analysis, morphology, everything is considered). We work with partners for personal shopping or clothing rentals if you want unique pieces or standout looks.
The aim is to showcase every detail, whether your style is minimalist-chic or boldly baroque. It’s that little extra touch that makes all the difference—and it’s visible in every image.
How long does a session last?
Plan for about 2 to 3 hours on average, because we take the time to do things right: setting up, chatting, lighting tests, outfit changes, coffee breaks… This is not a production line! Every project is unique, so we adapt to your pace—whether it’s a simple portrait or an elaborate fine art creation.
